1 Season, 24 Episodes
Genres: Action, Adventure, Comedy, Fantasy, Magic, Mystery
Just your average high school girl who was reincarnated as a spider monster in a fantasy world. Armed with only her human knowledge and overwhelming positivity, will she be able to stay alive? So begins the labyrinth survival story of a girl with incredible mental strength living as one of the lowest-ranked beasts!
This anime is based off the Japanese light novel series written by Okina Baba and illustrated by Tsukasa Kiryu. I picked this anime because I do enjoy the isekia genre and it had The Time I Reincarnated as a Slime vibes. This is your typical isekia adventure story with a light-hearted atmosphere with hints of dark humor. The series does start off a bit slow but gradually picks up pace. This makes the series come together for me. Unlike other isekia animes, we have a main character who is overpowered really fast. This series has makes you grind for the level up. Making it more relatable to an RPGs. The characters are charismatic and likeable. The art style a good mix of CGI in it. I know CGI has a bad reputation and it turns people away. However, this series does a great job of blending both. This is a series that once you watch it, you get hooked.
The God of Highschool
1 Season, 13 Episodes
Genres: Action, Sci-Fi, Adventure, Comedy, Supernatural, Martial Arts, Fantasy
The "God of High School" tournament has begun, seeking out the greatest fighter among Korean high school students! All martial arts styles, weapons, means, and methods of attaining victory are permitted. The prize? One wish for anything desired by the winner.
The God of Highschool is a South Korean is a webtoon written and illustrated by Yongje Park. A webtoon with overwhelming number of readers was turned into an anime. As a webtoon reader, I was excited for this series. For those who read the webtoon, you will find issues with the series since they cut out a lot from it. I don’t blame them since they have 23 minutes for each episode. Sticking to the important information the anime viewer is able to understand what is happening. In my opinion, I feel like the series is bit hard for anime watchers to enjoy since it is fast paced and not all of the plot makes sense. However, it is a good anime. I did enjoy the fight scenes and how they presented the characters. You are able to see how their development in terms as friends. Overall, this is anime worth checking out!
Dr. Ramune -Mysterious Disease Specialist
1 Season, 12 Episodes
Genres: Comedy, Slice of Life, Psychological, Supernatural, Shounen
As long as hearts exist inside people, there will always be those who suffer. And then something "strange" enters their mind and causes a strange disease to manifest itself in the body. The illness, which is called a "mystery disease" is unknown to most, but certainly exists. There is a doctor and apprentice who fights the disease, which modern medicine cannot cure.
Most people haven’t heard of this series since it was overshadowed by other animes and they are truly missing out. This is a fun, care-free anime. This series reminds me of Mushi-shi and XXXholic mixed together. The choices and actions we commit have consequences, and each consequence take on a mysterious disease. We watch out our protagonists help each client. This series takes a dive into a person’s psyche and how it affects them. It is interesting to see how each person’s stress manifests. Yes, it is bizarre anime but totally worth it. I really like the characters. The eccentric and gloomy character contrast is a good match. Overall, this is a down-to-earth anime. Check it out and enjoy themselves.
In/Spectre
1 Season, 12 Episodes
Genres: Mystery, Demons, Supernatural, Romance, Shounen
Hidden in plain sight, spirits known as youkai inhabit the world. While most are benign, a certain subset threatens the tenuous peace between youkai and humanity. Ever since she agreed to become their "God of Wisdom," Kotoko Iwanaga has served as a mediator between the two realms, resolving any supernatural problems that come her way.
If you are a fan of Blast of Tempest, then you’ll enjoy this series. Throughout the series we follow Kotoko Iwanaga. She solves a variety of supernatural occurrences with the help of Kurou Sakuragawa. The relationship between our protagonists helps balance out their personalities. Kotoko is an outgoing and caring while Kurou is mysterious. The anime does a great job of blending comedy alongside the action and serious moments. However, a down-side to this anime is how “dialogue heavy” it. The dialogue can be boring and disinterest people as they watch the series. Moreover, the art is good, nothing special but it captivating. Overall, it is a fantastic anime.
Fena: Pirate Princess

Orphaned and raised as a servant in a brothel, her life changes when she escapes to an island of pirates where she discovers the truth behind her family.
This a new Crunchyroll Original that just released for this season of anime. Fena, has taken the anime community by storm. By episode 3 you are hooked to the show. That characters are memorizing, and the plot captivates you. The character dynamic is interesting for the few episodes that are out. This is a great series to start!
TONIKAWA: Over the Moon for You

Nasa Yuzaki falls in love at first sight after an encounter with the mysterious Tsukasa. When Nasa earnestly confesses his feelings, she replies, "I'll date you, but only if we're married." Nasa and Tsukasa's cute and precious newlywed life of love is about to begin!
One of the most wholesome and heartfelt animes I have watched. The characters are just so cute. It is colorful, sweet rom-com. We are witnesses to Nasa and Tsukasa’s love story. We see how they care for another and what their relationship forms. This is a straightforward and simple anime. You won’t be disappointed in watching this wholesome rom-com. A 10 out of 10 in my book. Just check it out and make your own opinions about it.
